Safety first, parents, please

What is it with parents and dragging their kiddies across the road, when there is a crossing 20 metres away?  I see it ALOT at my daughters school and it just baffles me as to why they do it.  Some even cross and stop half way waiting for cars to pass, they aren't on a traffic island...they are just stood in the middle of the road???  Seriously is it that hard to walk the few paces to the lollipop lady who will escort you and your children saftely across the road.  And the way they park there, it's just crazy. I wish I was a copper, I'd be down there booking them all.  Crazy!!!!

Rant over!!!

I have been very busy this past week making a heap of cards.  My mother-in-law has offered to sell some of them for me, so I've been busy making a selection.  I'm hoping to send them off down to Tassie for her on Monday.  I have started selling some of my cards on ebay, although it's great at the moment as I have an introductory offer, but once that expires I feel I may be up for higher fees.  I'll see how I go with that.

Yay, it's FRIDAY....I'm so looking forward to the weekend.  This week as been mad at work, my manager is away, so I've had to pick up the slack.  I have a bottle of bubbles in the fridge at home calling my name.  Can't wait to sit back and relax and watch Masterchef.  The weather isn't that great for the weekend, so might see if husband and daughter want to go watch the new Tim Burton movie with Johnny Depp in it, I can't remember what it's called, but the trailer looks good.

  1. That is so irresponsible. There are parents here who pull their golf carts (as they drive them around the area) into the bike lane in front of cycling kids just so they can sneak a bit closer to the school drop off zone!! Have a great weekend Janey
